Policy Highlights & FAQ


All appointments require a 50% non-refundable deposit.

I do not save slots without a deposit being made.

The deposit secures your slot and date for your desired time.

Until you make your deposit, you're slot is up for grabs despite inquiring.

The remaining balance will be due the day of your scheduled photoshoot.

Failure to pay the remaining balance will results in not receiving your images.


In the event you arrive to your scheduled photoshoot late, you will pay a $25 dollar late fee after 15 minutes. After 30 minutes of being late, your scheduled photoshoot will be cancelled and you will not receive your deposit back. If you arrive within the 30 minutes, your photoshoot will still end at the time it was scheduled to. Please be sure to arrive at least 10 minutes ahead of your appointment time to factor in time for parking, walking to the studio/location, etc, so we can get started on time.


You can reschedule up to 7 days before your appointment.

Please send an email to bookings@ninimichellevisuals.com advising you need to reschedule and requesting your new date and time for a photoshoot.

Please allow up to 48 hours for a response.

You may reschedule one time without an additional charge.

If you need to reschedule again, you will have to cancel and book a new appointment with another deposit.

Same Day Cancellation/No Show

Same Day Cancellations/No shows will not have the ability to reschedule/book again.

Turnaround Time

The turnaround time is listed for each service when booking in the service description.

If you would like a faster turnaround time, you do have to purchase it as an add-on when booking.

Please note: The turnaround time starts from when you select the proofs you would like to be retouched.

Editing Style

I'm best known for my color-grading. Please note: I do not slim down or thicken the body/face in anyway I merely highlight the beauty that is there. My goal is to help you embrace your features so I will not do any transformation edits to the body/face.


After receiving your images you have a grace period of 24 hours to report any additional edits/revisions you'd like to make you get 1 free revision per image and must state them all in one email/text.

Do I receive all of the unedited images?

No, I don't provide my unedited images to clients. I do however have an add-on where you are able to purchase all of the images taken from your session and get them color corrected. This means the images will be color graded only with no retouching involved. This add-on is $200.00, Should you want to purchase this add-on, you may email Nia's team at bookings@ninimichellevisuals.com and allow up to 48 hours for a response.

Do I get to choose which images I want selected?

Following your session, I will send an email with a link to a digital gallery which will have all of your PROOFS (unedited images from the session that have a watermark over it) from there, you'll "heart" the images via the feature in the digital gallery and I'll automatically be notified once you've made your selections, after you've selected your images, that's when the turnaround time will start and I will have your retouched images to you via an email link of the digital gallery.

Will you pose me?

Yes! Upon booking, I'll send an email shortly after with my Welcome Guide which includes: service descriptions, add-ons, about me, photoshoot ideas, poses, and more. I will also pose you at the shoot as well!

Will you help creative direct/plan my photoshoot?

As far as helping with creating concept/creative direction, I do have that as an add-on, it's $150.00 in addition to your service. The add-on description: I curate a mood board which will include  the following for visualization purposes: Clothing, makeup, and hair inspiration pictures that may pair well with your theme, along with the links to these particular items or similar ones/ The mood board will also include more ideal poses/shots we'll aim for during the shoot. Essentially, the add-on is just expanding upon your idea but it does  not include the purchasing of these items. You are responsible for buying the items included in the board if you'd like. Following the creation of the mood board by Nini, We'll meet for a 30-minute consultation via Zoom to discuss the board and add, remove, and adjust as you see fit.

Where are you based and do you travel?

I'm based in Silver Spring, MD and I do travel through the DMV and out of the DMV as well. Fill out the Contact form and include the location you'd like me to travel out of the DMV.

Can I bring a friend/family member?

Of course! I do limit it to two guest to limit distractions and for health safety (COVID).


You will need to bring your own props if you don't want to use mine. I have three props at this time, a pink rotary telephone, small mirrors and bunch of flowers.
